Special Edition 10X Life Plan
December 16, 2020
What we have to do is we have to change the conversation about how people plan to prepare for a new year coming in to change the conversation, you got to change the action. I think the time right now is to take ownership of your choices in the absence of people taking ownership of their choices. That's where the real flaw in goal setting really lives. So this is a model I created that's inspired by the 10X movement, and the near 30 years of study and research that I've done, and even personal mastery I've been able to be afforded, where I really think that, you know, it's the most thought-provoking the most courageous conversation people can have about planning for the lives. So the thinking one does, about how you should make commitments and the choices you make is really all around what's got your attention, and what's got your effort and when you think about what's got your attention, and what got to your effort, you realize you're now subject to that fundamental flaw, which is that most of the time that we set our goals, it's about pleasing other people, past or present, Mum and Dad, husband, wife, etc. But as Emerson once wrote, without ambition, one starts nothing. And without work, one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. I mean, you've got to go with it. And so the session really starts the work that's necessary so that everything that you want to work will work, but you've got to put the time in, and we start now.
